据《华尔街日报》报道，World Liberty Financial 表示，其旗下实体 World Liberty Trust 已于 1 月 7 日向美国货币监理署（OCC）提交 de novo 申请，寻求获得美国国家级信托银行牌照，以实现对其美元稳定币 USD1 的直接发行与托管。公司称，若申请获批，该信托银行将逐步开展加密资产托管及稳定币兑换业务，主要服务于机构客户。
