X平台知名游戏爆料人TCMFGames近日发推文表示：《死亡空间》的联合创始人斯科菲尔德表示《死亡空间4》的开发工作正在推进中。
EA曾在2017年取消了《死亡空间4》的开发，但近日斯科菲尔德说，EA被沙特相关集团收购可能会是《死亡空间4》项目重启的新契机，并且自己也有志于此。他说：“我已经在着手于推进《死亡空间4》的开发工作了。”
而他也指出，2023年上线的《死亡空间》重制版系列很可能不会盈利，而EA也考虑放弃旧作重制版的开发工作。
