根据墨西哥国家地震局消息，当地时间1月2日7时58分，墨西哥西南部格雷罗州沿海地区发生6.5级地震，震源深度10公里。首都墨西哥城拉响警报。
墨西哥总统辛鲍姆表示，她已与格雷罗州州长进行通话。目前地震尚未在该州造成严重损失。
辛鲍姆还表示，政府直升机已进行首次飞行勘测，报告墨西哥城未受损。
