北京时间12月24日，据记者Chris Haynes报道，消息人士透露，萨克拉门托国王将后卫马利克-蒙克摆上交易货架，他是联盟中最具活力的第六人之一。
本赛季，蒙克共代表国王出战24场比赛，在场均23.1分钟的出场时间里，可以得到12.5分2篮板2.4助攻。
蒙克的合同还剩下三年（包括本赛季的1880万美元），其中最后一年为球员选项（2158万美元）。
