厕所吸烟会让玻璃变透明？有网友喊话“全国推广”，也有人反对……

近日，有网友在深圳一大厦的厕所拍到了一扇特殊的门——上面写着 “吸烟将使玻璃变透明” 。

An office complex in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, has drawn widespread attention after installing a smart restroom system that turns toilet cubicle glass fully transparent when smoking is detected.

据深视新闻报道，12月15日，记者来到深圳罗湖区的水贝国际中心。

在商场负一楼的男卫生间内，记者看到，安装有特殊玻璃的厕所隔间旁张贴着一块醒目的警示牌，“吸烟将使玻璃变透明！可别没忍住被拍变成网红了！”金色字体旁还配有一个卡通化的“社死”表情包。

Reporters from SZTV News visited Shuibei International Center in Luohu district on Monday, where stalls with this special glass were found in a men's restroom on the basement level. Along with several cubicles being fitted with special glass panels, a warning sign was also visible, reading: "Smoking will make the glass transparent! Don't lose control and become an internet sensation!" The warming was accompanied by a cartoon "social death" emoji.

商场公告说明，此处已启用智能感应控烟系统，如果检测到烟雾，隔间玻璃便会自动转为全透明状态，同时触发警报警示。

记者在现场实测后发现，一旦有人在隔间内吸烟，烟雾警报器便会当即触发，并持续鸣响提醒。

According to a mall notice, the intelligent smoke-control system automatically turns cubicle glass transparent and triggers an alarm when smoke is detected. During on-site tests, reporters found that lighting a cigarette immediately activated the alarm.

记者了解到，不仅是水贝国际中心，同在罗湖区的水贝金座也已安装同类控烟系统。在大厦的卫生间内，记者同样进行了实测，当点燃香烟后，隔间玻璃随即因烟雾感应由乳白色磨砂状转为透明。

水贝金座运营总监表示，“通过烟感报警器通电联动玻璃状态变化的技术，是今年8月改造完成并启用的，获得了商户和市民的广泛认可。”“从试行效果来看，该系统对控制吸烟行为作用显著。”

The system is not limited to Shuibei International Center. Reporters found it has also been installed at another office complex in Luohu district. An operations director there said the upgraded system was launched in August and has proven effective in curbing smoking, earning broad recognition from tenants and the public.

羊城晚报消息，记者通过专业人士了解到，该设施的核心技术为市面上成熟的电控调光玻璃，其工作原理是在玻璃内部嵌入液晶调光膜：

通电状态下，膜内液晶分子有序排列，玻璃呈现雾化不透明状态；当烟感传感器检测到烟雾浓度达到设定阈值时，会立即联动切断电源，液晶分子随即随机散乱分布，玻璃在数秒内转为透明状态，通过“行为公开化“的方式形成控烟威慑。

The system uses commercially mature electrically switchable glass. When powered, liquid crystal molecules align to keep the glass opaque. Once smoke concentration exceeds a preset threshold, the power is cut, causing the glass to turn transparent within seconds to deter smoking by making the behavior publicly visible.

社交平台上，不少网友将其称为“控烟黑科技”，呼吁全国推广类似创新控烟模式。

羊城晚报记者注意到，支持声中也夹杂着不少质疑与担忧。反对者认为，公共厕所虽属公共区域，但如厕行为具有天然的私密性，若因电路故障、烟感传感器误判（如厕所内的异味、蒸汽等非吸烟因素触发）导致玻璃无故透明，可能构成对个人隐私的侵犯。

The system has been praised online as a "high-tech anti-smoking solution", with calls for wider adoption, but it has also sparked concerns over privacy. Critics warn that malfunctions or false alarms, such as those triggered by odors or steam, could expose users, despite the inherently private nature of restroom use.

广东格厚律师事务所卢卫国律师认为，公共厕所内的如厕行为属于受法律保护的隐私范畴，即便设施旨在控烟，若因技术故障、设计缺陷导致无辜者隐私暴露，设施运营方仍可能需要承担相应的民事侵权责任。

同时，公共区域禁烟是《公共场所控制吸烟条例》的明确要求，该设施的控烟目的具有合法性，但根据行政法领域的“比例原则”，治理手段需与治理目的相匹配，若“透明威慑”的程度超出必要限度，比如烟雾消散后仍长时间保持透明、未设置应急干预机制等，可能涉嫌不合理行政干预，违背公共治理的合法性与适当性要求。

Lu Weiguo, a lawyer in Guangdong, said restroom use falls within the scope of legally protected privacy and that operators could face civil liability if technical flaws expose non-smokers. While public smoking bans are clearly mandated, he added that enforcement must follow the principle of proportionality, warning that excessive or poorly controlled "transparency deterrents" could be legally problematic.
