12月11日，2025WTT香港总决赛男单1/8决赛，向鹏4-2（7-11、11-9、16-14、11-9、11-13、11-5）战胜安宰贤，晋级下一轮，将对阵林诗栋。
赛后，向鹏表示：整场比赛自己打的挺好的，一开始对场地不是很适应，后面调整一下还是不错，比赛中没听见裁判叫我，也是和刘指导沟通比较投入，没注意叫我，下一轮对阵林诗栋，还是当下风球打，能赢一分是一分。
