德国总理默茨12月9日表示，近期发布的美国国家安全战略报告中的部分内容对欧洲而言“不可接受”，德国及欧洲在安全政策方面必须高度独立于美国。
默茨说，欧洲的共同目标是维护欧洲大陆的自由、安全与和平，希望美国能在这条道路上与欧洲同行，如果美国不能，那么欧洲至少在思想上、并且终有一天在实际行动上，要对此做好准备。（央视新闻）
