The bar chart compares the proportions of people in the UK using various modes of transport for education, work, leisure and shopping in 2013.

概述段

Overall, transport preferences varied significantly depending on the purpose of travel. The car wasthe predominant mode of transportfor the majority of journeys,with the notable exception oftrips made for leisure activities, where walking wasmost prevalent.

思路要点：

- 出行方式的选择因出行目的而不同

- walking的主要出行方式是leisure，其余三种出行目的car是最主要方式

Body paragraph 1

Carsdominated work-related travel, accounting for 40%,whereasthey were selected by only 15% for leisure activities.Conversely, walking wasthe most favored modefor leisure, with 35% opting for it,compared toa mere 5% for work.Interestingly, the above two modesdisplayed the same usage levelsfor both education and shopping trips: cars led at 30%,closely followed bywalking (25%). Other means of transportfollowed a similar pattern, but they werethe least popular across all categories, never exceeding 15%.

- car：work最高(40%)，但leisure仅为15%

- walking：leisure最高(35%)，但work仅为5%

- education、shopping的car比例相同（30%），educational、shopping的walking比例也相同（25%）

- others：类似规律，但整体使用率较低，不超过15%

Regardingpublic transport, buses weremore popularfor education(30%)butthe least preferredfor shopping(20%).However, bus usage stood at 25% for both work and leisure purposes.As fortrains, they werethe most frequently usedfor work trips(25%), but much less for shopping (15%) and leisure (10%).In comparison, the trainwas the least common option foreducation, at just 5%.

- bus：education最高(30%)，shopping最低(20%)，work、leisure相同(25%)

- train：work最高(25%)，shopping、leisure较低，分别为15%和10%；education仅为5%
