印度航空11月17日宣布，将于2026年2月1日起恢复德里至上海浦东的直飞航班，标志着该航司时隔近六年重返中国大陆市场。待获得相关监管批准后，印度航空还计划于2026年开通孟买至上海的直飞航线。印度航空将使用波音787-8客机执飞德里至上海航线，每周四班。
