11月10日，在奇瑞第五代瑞虎8发布会上，奇瑞汽车执行副总裁李学用谈到麋鹿测试和汽车安全时表示，汽车在高速公路行驶时，不可能在极短的时间内刹停，这是物理学原理。 李学用表示，如果汽车在高速以120码的速度行驶，遇到紧急情况，一脚刹车也只能刹到80码左右。
