据央视新闻消息，截至11月9日，美国联邦政府“停摆”已经40天。11月9日，美国财政部长贝森特对媒体称，如果“停摆”持续下去，美国今年第四季度“经济增长将砍半”。
而同一天，白宫经济顾问哈塞特在接受媒体采访时更是表示，如果联邦政府“停摆”持续，美国第四季度经济增长率可能转为负值。
