10月31日，完美世界CEO顾黎明在HBR管理年会演讲中表示，游戏行业“出身低微、不招人待见”，但是在全球中国企业真正有竞争力的就是游戏企业。他称游戏企业不能上市，没有融资，社会压力和舆情压力大，但“我们是拖不垮、压不垮的小强，很顽强”。
