10月30日，神舟二十一号航天员乘组确定。执行神舟二十一号载人飞行任务的航天员乘组由张陆、武飞、张洪章3名航天员组成。张陆担任指令长。
在湖南汉寿，航天员张陆的母亲陆金梅在接受采访时表示，祖国科技强大，完全没有担忧 ，希望他把任务顺利完成。
