2025年10月26日凌晨，三峡大学一名男性外籍学生翻墙潜入女生宿舍，对一名女生实施猥亵行为。公安机关已依法对其刑事拘留，学校依据校纪校规作出开除学籍处理。
三峡大学于10月29日发布正式通报，表示将加强校园安全管理，维护学生权益。事发后，涉事宿舍楼已加装防护铁丝网，提升物理防范。（潮新闻）
