10月17日，微信珊瑚安全发文称，为落实主管部门对方言及外语类内容管理工作要求，进一步净化平台内容生态，平台近期开展方言外语类不良短视频专项治理工作。截至目前，微信平台累计处置违规短视频内容18453条，对12个违规账号采取封号、禁言、限流等处置措施。
