2025年8月，安徽六安霍山县景秀蓝湾小区一栋9层住宅楼，被曝因业主私挖近300平方米地下室，导致全楼32户房屋出现结构性开裂。鉴定报告显示，该楼地基基础稳定性被破坏，安全性等级评定为C级危房（局部危险），部分墙体裂缝宽度达0.19毫米，窗台大理石断裂渗水，居民被迫在“头顶裂缝”的恐惧中生活。
