美驻华领事馆宣布：账号停更

10月3日，美国驻华使领馆官方账号在社交媒体“X”上发布公告称，由于拨款问题未决，除紧急的安全和安保信息外，此账户将不会定期更新，直至恢复全面运作。

The US Mission to China said on Friday in a post on X that it would not be updating its website, apart from urgent information.

公告表示，在拨款问题未决期间，美国境内以及海外的美国使领馆的预定护照和签证服务，目前将在允许的情况下继续提供。除紧急的安全和安保信息外, 此账户将不会更新，直至恢复全面运作。

It posted: "At this time, scheduled passport and visa transit services in the United States and at US Embassies and Consulates overseas will continue during the lapse in appropriations as the situation permits."

除该公告外，该账号发布的最后一条消息发布于10月1日，内容为美国国务卿鲁比奥对中华人民共和国成立76周年向中国人民表示祝贺。

美国驻华大使馆的官方微博账号最后一条消息也停留在鲁比奥的国庆祝贺。

据此前报道，自当地时间10月1日零时，美国政府时隔七年再次停摆。同日，美国国会参议院再度否决临时拨款法案。参议员们将因庆祝“赎罪日”放假，预计要到3号才会再次投票。这意味着，政府“关门”可能会持续至少三天。

On Wednesday, it became official: the US had its first shutdown for nearly seven years. Later that day, the US Senate rejected another short-term spending bill, with a recess scheduled for the Yom Kippur holiday, further delaying the next vote until this Friday. This sequence of events indicates the government shutdown is expected to last at least three days.
