10月2日，中网女单1/4决赛，2号种子、卫冕冠军高芙2-0（6-3、6-4）完胜利斯，连续三年闯入中网四强，也是第11次跻身1000赛四强。她将与3号种子阿尼西莫娃和6号种子保利尼的胜者争夺决赛席位。
赛后，高芙说道：对手很难缠，最终能获胜我很自豪。很多观众给我起动物的外号，在这其中我最喜欢狼，所以可以叫我狼小姐。
