此前小孔塞桑在国家队训练期间遭遇肌肉伤病提前返回了俱乐部。米体表示，尤文主帅图多尔出于对后续赛程的考虑，在与医疗团队共同商议后，决定让小孔塞桑在本场比赛中轮休。
本场比赛尤文将会让阿季奇和伊尔迪兹首发，奥彭达出任中锋。
