“湛江发布”微信公众号消息，9月24日10时，台风“桦加沙”（超强台风级）位于湛江市区偏东方向330公里的海面上，预计未来12小时内湛江市将受其严重影响，风力达12级以上，从9月24日10时38分起，湛江市区台风红色预警信号生效。
同时，吴川、廉江、雷州台风红色预警信号生效中。市三防指挥部决定将防风Ⅱ级应急响应调整为防风Ⅰ级应急响应。
