9月19日，湖南新宁警方发布悬赏通告称，17日一女子犯下刑事案件后潜逃。20日女子邻居告诉记者，嫌疑人系因矛盾杀害舅舅后潜逃。当地村干部告诉记者，死者80多岁，确系嫌疑女子的舅舅，20日上午女子已被警方抓获。记者从丰田乡政府获悉，潜逃的嫌疑女子已被警方抓获。
