美国财政部（OFAC）于9月9日宣布，对缅甸（Myanmar）和柬埔寨（Cambodia）的网络诈骗集团实施制裁。这些诈骗集团通过网络诈骗、赌博、投资欺诈、洗钱等方式，2024年仅针对美国公民造成的损失就超过 100 亿美元。 制裁对象包括缅甸的 9 家实体与个人（主要位于 Shwe Kokko 地区）以及柬埔寨的 10 家实体。
