9月7日晚，“湘超”揭幕战在长沙贺龙体育场打响。揭幕战上演焦点对决，长沙与娄底两支队伍会师绿茵场。长沙球迷身披红衣集结呐喊，还有十余名银发球迷现场奏响“胜利进行曲”；蓝色的娄底助威团则手举“娄底必胜”标语，红蓝两色在比赛现场交织成绚丽画卷。
