2024年4月，央视军事频道首次曝光了运-20B型运输机实机。其实早在2021年9月的中国航展上，运-20总设计师唐长红就曾宣布，运-20已经有两款自主研发的发动机正在试飞，而且进展比较顺利。他当时还透露，换装“中国心”之后，运-20的能力将更加强大。（东方视频 蔡黄浩）
