8月30日，重庆市纪委监委消息，武隆区委副书记、区长左军涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受市纪委监委纪律审查和监察调查。
左军，土家族，1968年6月出生，重庆酉阳人。
左军历任重庆市质量技术监督局办公室主任，重庆市质量技术监督局副局长、党组成员，重庆市石柱自治县委副书记、县长。
2021年7月，左军出任重庆市武隆区委副书记、区长，直至此次被查。
