8月28日，《翘楚》官宣杀青并发布人物海报及视频。据公开资料，该剧改编自希行的小说《楚后》，由杨龙执导，李旻编剧，陈都灵、周翊然领衔主演唐晓天特邀主演，王瑞昌特别主演，高茂桐主演。
据了解，该剧导演杨龙曾执导《雁回时》 ，编剧李旻曾参与《司藤》《以爱为营》《有翡》等剧。（今视频长天新闻）
