北京时间8月22日，游泳世青赛女子400米自由泳决赛，杨佩琪游出4:05.38打破赛会纪录夺冠，队友严窕珊4:05.80摘银，美国选手多布森4:06.66摘铜。
这是杨佩琪收获本届世青赛第三金，这也是中国游泳队本届世青赛第三金。在此前女子800米自由泳决赛中，她以8:22.93的绝对优势夺冠，领先亚军、阿根廷选手近4秒。
