当地时间20日下午，日本冲绳县宇流麻市的美军设施“白滩”附近海域的一艘驻日美国海军舰艇发生火灾。目前，船员正在进行灭火作业，日本自卫队相关船舶也已前往协助灭火。
据当地海上保安部消息，起火的是驻日美军舰艇“新奥尔良”号，该舰全长208.4米，宽32米，总吨位24433吨，为大型舰艇。
目前，火灾的原因、损失情况以及是否有人员受伤尚不明确。
