新华社仰光8月18日电（记者张东强 黎广滔）缅甸联邦选举委员会18日发布公告，宣布将于2025年12月28日开始举行大选。
公告说，缅甸联邦选举委员会根据宪法和相关法律宣布12月28日为大选第一阶段选举时间，并将陆续公布其他阶段选举时间。
缅甸领导人敏昂莱曾在今年6月25日宣布将于今年12月至明年1月举行大选。（完）
