西班牙国家气象局8月11日发布通报称，本轮席卷该国的热浪预计于当天触达峰值，埃布罗河流域、伊比利亚半岛南部和东部及坎塔布连海东部等地气温持续攀升，内陆地区普遍达到37至39摄氏度，部分区域预计将突破40摄氏度。11日当天将为本轮高温事件的“最严酷时刻”，预计自13日起气温将逐步回落，但14日及之后的趋势仍存在不确定性。
