当地时间8月5日，巴西总统卢拉表示，美国总统特朗普没有权利对巴西加征50％的高关税。巴西将启动应急计划，以减轻这一不公正行为带来的冲击。卢拉还表示，不会就关税问题致电特朗普，将动用一切手段捍卫本国利益。
