7月28日，MSC荣耀号邮轮航行期间遭遇台风“竹节草”，有乘客反映“晃吐了”。记者从邮轮公司了解到，受台风外围天气影响，航经海域风浪较平日增大。目前，邮轮已如期安全抵达冲绳，并计划于31日返回上海。
