7月26日，据悉，马斯克旗下的脑机接口公司Neuralink正在与加州和西班牙的研究人员合作进行一项研究视觉假体的临床试验。该试验消息于7月下旬在ClinicalTrials网站上披露，由加州大学圣巴巴拉分校赞助。研究目标是解决开发智能仿生眼的基本问题，该设备将使用人工智能技术，帮助盲人识别人脸、进行户外导航以及阅读等。
