中南大学网站24日发布情况通报，全文如下：
近日，网络出现举报我校谭某兵相关信息，学校第一时间组建工作组开展调查处置。经初步核查，谭某兵系我校二级学院实验技术人员，存在严重违反社会公德的行为。学校已暂停其工作，将根据进一步调查核实情况严肃处理，绝不姑息。
