7月24日，泰国与柬埔寨在两国边境地区发生交火，泰柬军方均称对方率先开火。泰国陆军发文称，泰方出动空军F-16战机，摧毁柬方两处军事设施。另据泰媒报道，柬埔寨发射的BM-21火箭弹落入泰国一座加油站，造成大量学生和平民受伤。柬方称使用了“多种关键武器”打击泰军，截至上午11点左右，超10名泰国士兵受伤。（央视新闻）
