北京时间7月22日，根据水晶宫跟队记者Bobby Manzi的报道，水晶宫将不会就埃泽解约金进行谈判。
该记者写道：“尽管阿森纳对埃泽很感兴趣，但水晶宫不会就埃泽的解约金进行谈判。埃泽的解约金有明确的付款结构，俱乐部不太可能妥协。目前，埃泽的合同将在2027年到期。”
此前，据记者本-雅各布斯的报道，阿森纳尝试不触发埃泽的解约条款。
