7月18日，宝马宣布领悦南京升级为宝马集团“全球信息技术研发中心”并成立新公司，成为宝马集团全球六大信息技术研发中心之一，也是集团在全亚洲规模最大的信息技术研发基地。新公司将独立运营，支持沈阳生产基地及新世代车型国产。
