北京时间7月17日，据韩国媒体tvchosun消息，18岁韩国小将朴昇洙已前往纽卡接受体检，预计下周官宣。
据报道，朴昇洙已于16日前往英格兰，预计球员将于17日接受纽卡斯尔联体检，办理完成相关手续后，纽卡斯尔联预计下周官宣球员加盟。
若朴昇洙顺利加盟纽卡，将成为韩国历史上第20位与英超俱乐部签约的球员，今年夏天，布莱顿签下了韩国小将尹棹泳。
