松下控股旗下从事电池业务的松下能源7月14日宣布，位于美国堪萨斯州的纯电动汽车用锂离子电池工厂正式开业，已开始量产2170型电芯，计划未来实现约32吉瓦时的年产能。
松下能源堪萨斯工厂于2022年11月动工建设，占地面积约120万平方米。该厂最多将雇佣4000人，包括关联企业在内预计提供约8000个就业岗位。
