根据公开报道，目前陆川县已知最长寿的人是沙湖镇官山村岭头队的谭桂清老人。
谭桂清出生于 1910 年 7 月 25 日，2023 年时已 113 岁，当时除腿脚不便外，身体并无其他毛病。老人为五世同堂，子孙众多，其长寿秘诀可能与规律作息、良好心态等因素有关。
