毕业季来啦！

2025

每一次告别，都是为了更好的出发。本学年末的最后一天，哈罗上海学子们迎来本学年的高光时刻——年度颁奖典礼。这是属于每一位哈罗学子的荣耀时刻，也是学校庆祝全人教育成果的重要仪式。

伴随着中学部管弦乐团奏响的贝多芬《第七交响曲》节选，典礼拉开帷幕。校长Alex Reed在致辞中回顾了过去一年学校在学术、体育、艺术、戏剧等方面的丰硕成果。他特别提到学生在数学竞赛中取得的亮眼成绩，并赞许哈罗学子在各个学科领域、艺术舞台和运动赛场上的杰出表现，几乎在你能想象到的每一个方面都熠熠生辉！

哈罗上海是一所小而美的学校，我们的老师真正了解每一位学生，致力于在各方面激励他们追求卓越，并以因材施教的方式，给予最适合他们的支持。最终的成果是什么？是拥有无限可能、未来可期的领导者们！

仪式感满满的“顶帽礼”

“顶帽礼”是哈罗学校百年传统。当校长庄重念出每位学生的名字，他们将以标志性的“哈罗顶帽礼”回应——这是对哈罗学子的肯定，也是彼此尊重的象征。

典礼上，200个荣誉奖项逐一揭晓，颁发给优秀的哈罗学子们。这些荣誉奖项涵盖学术成就、领导力、进步表现以及哈罗四大核心价值观——勇气、荣誉、谦和与互助。

今年，20位哈罗奖学金得主逐一登台，从校长手中接过象征卓越的奖学金证书。这是对哈罗学子在学术、领导力、体育、音乐、艺术和全面发展的认可，也是对全体哈罗学子巨大的鼓舞。

祝贺Shaftesbury学院捧得本年度“学院杯”！这份集体荣誉是哈罗“荣誉”与“互助”的最佳诠释。

2025届毕业生也在这一天，

郑重接过属于他们的毕业证书。

在全体师生的祝福中，

他们将从哈罗上海出发，

小学毕业典礼

五年级的孩子们身穿代表各学院的毕业学士服，自信地走上舞台，在回顾小学成长的同时，满怀憧憬地展望即将开启的中学新旅程。五年的小学时光，不仅为他们打下了坚实的学术基础，也让他们在丰富多彩的校园生活中发展兴趣、收获友情。典礼上最欢乐的环节莫过于“猜猜谁是我？” 当孩子们的baby photo一一亮相，引发全场欢笑。看到自己小时候的模样，大家都乐翻了天。

幼儿园毕业典礼

幼儿园大班的孩子们自信地走过红毯与气球拱门，从校长手中接过人生第一张毕业证书。在爸爸妈妈、老师与好朋友的见证下定格的每一帧画面，都会成为他们童年里最温暖动人的回忆。

随着颁奖典礼的结束，

本学年也完美收关。

Graduation season has arrived once again!

2025

Every farewell marks the start of a new journey. On the final day of the school year, Harrow Shanghai pupils came together to celebrate one of the most important moments of the year –the annual Prize Giving. It was a time to recognise personal achievement, mark the end of a busy year, and celebrate the values of a holistic Harrow education.

The ceremony opened with a performance by the Upper School Orchestra, playing a movement from Beethoven's Symphony No. 7. In the Head Master's Address, Mr Reed talked about the school’s academic, sporting, musical, and dramatic achievements over the past year. He talked specifically about the impressive results Harrow Shanghai pupils achieved in Mathematics competitions, and he reflected on the way Harrow pupils have the ability to stand out and shine across academic disciplines, in musical, dramatic and sporting performances and, in fact, in every way you could possibly imagine!

It was the benefit of a small school with huge ambitions for its young people. Our teachers know our pupils; they are driven to support our children to excel in every sphere; and they use their knowledge of the children to offer support in ways tailored to each child. And the result? Leaders with great futures ahead of them.

Capping

One of the cherished traditions at Harrow is the capping ritual during the Prize Giving Ceremony. This symbolic act involves the Head Master reading out each student's name, to which the student responds by “capping.” This ritual signifies the endorsement of each student's journey and accomplishments at Harrow.

Over 200 prizeswere presented to pupils from both the Lower and Upper School, celebrating excellence in academics, leadership, personal progress and the four Harrow values – Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship.

This year,20 pupilswere awarded Harrow Scholarships. They took to the stage to receive their certificates from the Head. These awards are a recognition of their achievements in academics, leadership, sport, music, art and all-round development – and they stand as an inspiration to every Harrovian.

Congratulations to Shaftesbury House for winning this year's House Cup! This collective honour reflects the true meaning of Honour and Fellowship within the Harrow community.

On this day, our Class of 2025 also received their graduation certificates. With best wishes from their teachers and classmates, they now head off to the world's top universities, ready to begin a new chapter.

This year's university offers were

particularly impressive

For thefifth year running, Harrow Shanghai students received offers from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. They also secured places at world-class universities including UCL, the University of Edinburgh, University of Washington (Seattle), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Toronto, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Among UK offers,80%came from G5 or the Russell Group; in the US,90%of offers came from universities ranked in the Top 50 by U.S. News.

Primary Graduation

Dressed in academic gowns in their House colours, they walked proudly across the stage to mark the end of their Primary years and the beginning of their Upper School journey. Their time in the Lower School gave them not only a strong academic foundation through a rigorous curriculum, but also the chance to explore interests and talents, build friendships, and grow in confidence through a wide range of ECAs and school activities.

One of the most joyful moments was the "Guess Who?" slideshow. A collection of baby photos that filled the room with laughter. The children were delighted to see themselves – and their classmates – as toddlers!

Reception Graduation

The Reception children walked down the red carpet and under the balloon arch with confidence, receiving their very first graduation certificates from the Head Master. Surrounded by families, teachers and friends, this special moment is sure to become a treasured memory from their early childhood.

With the end of the Prize Giving, we bring another successful school year to a close. See you all in August!
