据报道，守田英正渴望在夏季转会窗口转会至英超。然而，由于利兹联队和葡萄牙体育之间的谈判尚未取得进展，利兹联俱乐部又放弃了谈判，这笔交易可能难以达成。
现年30岁的守田英正是日本现役国脚，德转身价1300万欧元，他与葡萄牙体育的合同到2026年6月。
