7月7日，苹果公司正式对欧盟5亿欧元的罚款提起上诉，称这一处罚“史无前例”，且监管机构要求苹果对其应用商店App Store收费系统修改是“非法的”。苹果公司发布声明称，“我们认为欧盟委员会的决定以及他们开出的史无前例的罚单，远远超出了法律的范畴。”
