北京时间7月4日晚，天津津门虎主教练于根伟在直播期间透露，张威提前结束了在津门虎队的租借之旅。

今年年初的冬窗转会期，25岁的张威被上海申花租借至天津津门虎效力。2025赛季至今，张威代表津门虎队出场3次。
于根伟表示：“我们提前终止跟张威的租借合同，然后张威大概率可能会选择一支中甲的球队，更多的还是想通过比赛来提升自己。”
