7月1日，泰国宪法法院决定受理对总理佩通坦的弹劾请愿并暂停其总理一职。6月20日，泰国国会上议院议长向宪法法院提交弹劾佩通坦的请愿，理由是佩通坦与柬埔寨参议院主席洪森的通话内容涉嫌违宪及违反道德规范。（CCTV国际时讯）
