刚刚，《舌尖上的中国》制片人陈晓卿发文怀念蔡澜。他提到，与蔡生相识逾20年，受益良多，感激不尽。他提到，蔡澜一辈子爱生活，重情义，“俊逸洒脱，才华横溢。愿他一路走好。”2012年，已是著名美食家身份的蔡澜为《舌尖上的中国》第一季担任总顾问，节目播出之后大火。此后，蔡澜又为《舌尖上的中国2》《舌尖上的新年》担任总顾问。
