格隆汇6月24日｜据美国新闻网Axios，美国众议院发送给工作人员的一份备忘录显示，由于WhatsApp存在安全风险，众议院员工不得在政府配发的手机、电脑，甚至在网页浏览器上使用该应用。网络安全办公室认为WhatsApp对用户构成高风险，因为它在保护用户数据方面缺乏透明度、缺乏存储数据加密，并且使用过程中存在潜在的安全风险。另外，备忘录中推荐其他应用程序，包括微软的Teams、亚马逊的Wickr、Signal、苹果的iMessage和Facetime。
