根据游戏内截图，V社的新英雄射击多人游戏《Deadlock》公布了中文名，名称为《异锁》。而在之前，本作在玩家社区的称呼一般是直译的《死锁》。有玩家猜测，可能是“死”这个字比较敏感，才会选择命名为“异锁”。
截至发稿前，《异锁》在Steam上共有6455名玩家同时在线。而本作的在线峰值高达171490人，自2024年9月2日以后便开始逐步下滑。
