北京时间6月12日，来自The Athletic的报道宣称，水晶宫正在尝试免签埃因霍温的门将瓦尔特-贝尼特斯。
现年32岁的瓦尔特-贝尼特斯与埃因霍温的现有合同将在本月底到期，按照The Athletic的说法，水晶宫目前正在与这位阿根廷国门进行谈判，尝试将其带到英超赛场。
瓦尔特-贝尼特斯此前还曾效力过基尔梅斯和尼斯，此外他还代表阿根廷国家队出场过1次。
