韩国军方在重开1年之后停止对朝扩音广播。尹锡悦政府时期，朝韩关系紧张，双方在边境地区重启扩音广播。韩国市民团体持续向朝鲜放飞传单等宣传物，朝鲜也持续向韩国放飞带有垃圾、碎纸等的气球。随着韩国新政府上任，外界分析，朝韩关系有望出现缓和。
